Cuts like a knife, but it feels so right...
So I was introduced to the world of superior nail clippers a couple years ago when I got the Seki Edge.....http://www.amazon.com/Seki-Edge-Stainless-Fingernail-Clipper/dp/B000F35R00/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1322510729&sr=8-3Recently I misplaced that and decided to order another rather than go without. I had used that Seki a couple times a week for over a year and it was still sharper and superior to any other 'new' clipper I'd ever used. Just wish it had a built-in file and the portability of this one intrigued me. So I tried this one to see if it'd be an upgrade. I couldn't find any reviews comparing these so here is the comparison for others like me:Clipping: Both are fantastic and very similar in the pressure it takes to cut. The Seki is a little easier to hold in your hand and it's a little more curved on the blade end. It's also a bit easier to see what you are doing. If both were sitting in front of me I'd choose the Seki. Though this...

Great nail clippers.
I bought my first pair at Nordstrom's and have loved them ever since. My husband travels and needed a good pair so I took my pair to visit him and then decided we needed more than one and found them on Amazon. We have had some very poor clippers in the past, the get dull and break the nail when you clip, this is a sharp, easy to use pair of nail clippers and well worth the money. The case comes off and I don't use it but when you spend money on your nails these clippers are an awesome investment.
Sharp and catches clippings
The Henckels fingernail clipper is sharp, requiring little "squeeze" effort and fits well in a man's hand (might be a little large for a woman's hand). It boasts the ability to catch clippings - and DOES. On the negative side, and although the arc of the head does not look to be too curved, it does seem to leave rough spots on the nails.
Nail Clipper
The clipper cuts your nails like many others. I purchased it for the catching ability, which it doesn't do any better than any other catching type clipper. I spent to much for that ability.

INOX Folded Stainless Steel Nail Clipper
I bought this to replace a Hoffritz nail clipper which was probably purchased in the 1960's. It is not the same quality and does not clip as easily as the old one did, the recipient of this gift told me. We like this style of clipper which folds flat and is hard to find. I have shopped for them in many types of stores in the Seattle and Richmond, Virginia areas. Most sales clerks in beauty supply, gift, department, and drug stores, do not know about this style of clipper.

zwilling henckel-Zwilling J.A. Henckels Ultra-slim Nail Clipper ...

My wife thought I was crazy to spend so much on “just clippers”.

I’ve used them during the past year and they are great! They still remain super sharp. No flying nails to lodge in your seat, or carpet, or….. you get the idea. The design is neat and clean, just like your nails will be. There is a small file built in that does the job in a pinch. The leather pouch is a nice touch and even with it, these are thin enough that they could easily be carried in a wallet.

The Nail clippers were a great choice. They were right about the nice sharp blade. I cuts my nails very easy. The negative part is that you have to turn the clippers to the side to empty the clippings every other nail or it get jammed up. If you do this the product if great! I Recommend it.
