Outstanding Colors, Incredible Wear: Best nail polish I've triedI've been doing my nails (not a salon, ME), since I was a kid. I'm middle-aged now, and after trying all sorts of brands, from the cheap to the high-end pricey ones, I've concluded that OPI is the best. These polishes last two weeks, easy, looking decently on my toes. Hands less long (cause I wash dishes without gloves). Lately, I've forgone nail polish on my fingers (laziness), but I still love to OPI my toes. Opi goes on smooth, dries relatively fast, has rich colors, and lasts. Chick Flick Cherry is my fave of the cool, darker reds. Gorgeous red that makes my toes girly, sexy, and very happy. Hubby loves this color, too. Even comments on it. (When a man comments on a toenail color, it's gotta be nice!) Malaga Wine is another lovely darker, coolor, winey-red color. (Try Kennebunk-port, too. Niiiice.) And in the warmer reds, Thrill of Brazil, Smok'n in Havana are tops. Moscow Red and Big Apple Red are terrific medium reds. And the...
What's Old is New Again
This polish is a deep-purple-edging-towards-black color which comes as close as you can get to the famous Chanel "Media" of the 90's. It's OPI, hence you're getting a nice bottle of polish for a not so large price that rivals the couture brands - not that most people could tell anyway. I love the whole OPI Russian collection. It has very retro colors that are "in" now so for "old" folks like me, it's nice to have my past made hip. Maybe I wasn't such an outcast after all - I was just cool before my time!
absolutely lovely
I am as low-maintenance a woman as they come; I can't usually be bothered with fixing polish chips and reapplying because it has bubbles and all the other headaches that have come with my brief forays into growing out and keeping polish on my nails in the past. I finally got smart and decided that cheap polish might be my problem, and looked around for the best-reviewed brand. I was not disappointed. It applied very smoothly, no bubbles, and with a thicker coat than I was expecting. The second coat took the color from a medium red/fuchsia to something just a little too pink to be candy-apple red, and I think I would have been just fine with a single coat, the coverage was that good. And then it stayed, and stayed. I'm usually lucky to get two days with perfect nails; this time I got a week, with only some wear (some very even wear, a thin line of white) at the very tips. I'm very pleased to finally find a polish as low-maintenance as I am!

What it is: A revolutionary magnetic nail lacquer used to create stunning 3D nail art designs in chic metallic shades. What it does: Get the wow factor with this revolutionary polish that lets you create gorgeous nail art effects in just a few minutes using nails inc. Textured, special effects nails are big news for this season and the ultimate fashion and party accessory. Choose from three magnetic polishes named after iconic London attractions: Trafalgar Square (chrome), Houses of Parliament (purple), and Whitehall Teal (teal). What else you need to know:This unique formula has been specially developed with metallic particles to create a pattern on the nail using magnetic forces. As the magnet is held over the nail, the iron powder in the formulation gravitates toward the magnet forming the pattern secretly hidden in the magnet for an astonishing finish. The magnet is included in the cap of the nail polish. How to get the magnetic effect: -Remove any oil from your nails by cleaning your nails with nail polish remover. -Take off the over-cap that contains the magnet and set aside. -There is an inner cap that you can use to apply the magnetic polish. -Apply one coat of your selected nails inc. base coat. -Then, apply one coat of your chosen magnetic polish on all 10 nails and let dry for a few minutes. -To create the "magnetic effect," apply a generous coat of magnetic polish to one nail, and immediately hold the cap that contains the magnet over the nail. (Do this quickly while the polish is still wet. There is a small lip on the cap which should be placed just below your cuticle allowing the magnet to be positioned perfectly over your nail.) -Hold very close to the nail for 10-15 seconds, taking care not to touch the nail with the magnet. -Repeat on all 10 nails and apply a top coat to seal the design.Customer Reviews
Really Cool Nail Polish!I have to say that I love to paint my nails and do different designs on my nails and I am constantly changing up my nail polish and trying new things. I got an email from Sephora showing off their new products and this is something that I absolutely had to try! I purchased both colors, the Trafalgar Square and Houses Of Parliament. As of right now, the silvery Trafalgar Square is my favorite, I absolutely love the way the nail polish comes out. It took a couple times to try the polish before getting used to it. The nail polish dries pretty quickly, so you have to work pretty fast when doing your nails. The directions say: To create the "magnetic effect," apply a generous coat of magnetic polish to one nail, and immediately hold the cap that contains the magnet over the nail. (Do this quickly while the polish is still wet. There is a small lip on the cap which should be placed just below your cuticle allowing the magnet to be positioned...
Fun to apply and very slick!
I mean, can we get three cheers for science?! I bought this polish from Sephora the other day. I was using some different polishes in that new "cracked" style that's been happening and I love those so I wanted to try the magnetic polish I was reading about. It's pricey but worth it for the fun (and the compliments you're sure to get). Application is easy and holding the magnet different ways will give slightly different results - it's really unique and with a top coat, it looks very nice. Can't wait to try some other colors, the one that I got and was very happy with was Trafalgar Square (the black and silver). Highly recommended, it's really neat! (Okay, science, get back to curing terminal diseases, please!)
Love this FUN polish!
Even at a steep price, this polish is worth the expense. I used Essie Protein Base Coat, Essie top coat on my left hand, Nubar top coat on my right hand. Both hands wore better than even my OPI polishes--day five, and I have one small chip and the tips are showing some wearing down, but overall, this stuff wears better than any other polish I've used recently. Usually by day five, several nails have serious chips and flakes, or even crackled as if the polish were too thick; not so with this polish, although this is the first time I've ever used Nails Inc polish. That said, the top coat applied 20 minutes after the last coat of polish did "drag" some of the design in the polish, but not so noticeable unless you look closely. Now, how do I like the idea of magnetic nail polish? It is the RAGE. I am 41, and work in a professional office, and am comfortable wearing this. I have the purple shade (Houses of Parliament), and it actually works with many colors of clothing. I was...
Sephora Nail Lacquer

Stumbled upon the new Sephora Nail Lacquers while shopping with Jessie  last week. We were literally stucked to the rack. The colours are beautiful and the range is massive. Best of all, each only costs S$9 but do note that they contain only 5ml of product. Is it worth it or not? Well, it depends on how you look at it. How many bottles of nail polishes do we finish? I don’t think I have ever went through a bottle myself.
