Never Thought I'd Review Something Like This....So I've spent a year building up my natural nails, which wasn't an easy task, and I'm so proud of how they turned out. However, Murphy's Law follows me around like a black cloud and, lo and behold, the day before a holiday party, my middle fingernail broke off, leaving an ugly and obvious gap among the long, pretty others. I didn't have time to get to a nail salon, so I picked these up at a drugstore. I can't believe I'm going to rave about stick-on (sort of) nails, but these are awesome! They are the most natural-looking nails (better than many nail jobs I've had). The pink glue that comes with it helps create a more natural look behind the nail, as well, mimicking the skin beneath, but very subtle. Plus, the curve of the nails adds to the natural look (nothing worse or more fake looking than flat, sharp, wide nails). I was able to just use one nail and it blended beautifully with my real nails. I was so impressed, I looked them up on Amazon to order several more boxes to keep on...
Changed my whole outlook
This may sound ridiculous, but Broadway Nails have changed my life. *laugh* I've bitten my nails for 30 years. Yes, I've tried everything in the book to stop, but have never been able to conquer it. As such, I hide my hands. Sit on them, keep them in fists, etc. And jewelry on my hands? Forget it - that would just call attention to my ugly nails. My sister convinced me to try these, and WOW am I glad I did. Now I have beautiful, natural-looking nails all the time! Even my coworker commented, Wow your nails look great! I didn't tell her they were fake - why ruin the illusion? After falling in love with the falsies, I tried several brands to see which would work best for me, but I came back to Broadway. Now I buy rings by the bucketful, just so I can show them off with my beautiful nails. I want to start off replying towards the review with a 1-star rating because they had an allergic reaction. Don't blame the product cause your body developed an allergic reaction to it. Every person reacts differently to products, but that doesn't mean the products are bad. Take peanut butter or Nutella. Both are made from nuts even though many people are allergic to peanuts. That doesn't make them bad products or effect the way they taste. They are still delicious. That 1-star rated person may have had an allergic reaction, but that was after 2 years of using Deceptions. Obviously, they had loved the nails prior to the incident. So please, if you are reading these reviews, disregard the 1-star allergic reaction rating. For my rating, I chose 5-stars because these nails are the best you can buy at a local store. Fast, Fabulous, Fake NailsThis is one darn good product! I have worn acrylic and gel nails for 18 years and love how they look. Of course, they are expensive to maintain and time consuming to go to a salon twice a month to have them filled-in. I've tried to grow my own nails without success. Once you remove the acrylic nails, the nail bed takes several months to fully grow. Meanwhile, you are left with weak, peeling, ugly nails. Until now. I took off my acrylics, trimmed my 'real' nails, and put on a coat of clear nail hardener. After it was dry, I followed the instructions on the box. It took me 30 minutes to put on a full set of nails. It should be a bit faster next time. I bought the style that most resembles my former acrylics; short with a French manicure. I have done house cleaning, grocery shopping, brushed my dog, made beds, done laundry, cooked, washed dishes and they STILL are holding tightly and looking fabulous. I'd never used acrylic nails before at home but I like these. I used the "Real short- petite" variety and they were a good fit for my smaller hands. The white part does chip a little, but initially I touched it up with a tiny bit of white polish and a shiny top coat. The glue that comes with it is enough for one application. The nails have a light pink hue to them. Once I reached one full week of wear two nails flew off. At this point that was fine though since I was ready to take them off. I got lots of compliments on these and people actually thought they were real. It was a little tricky using the super sticky glue and me fumbling trying to get them on, but I like the way they look and I just bought another box so I can have fancy nails for weddings, etc... I would recommend laying out all the nails you plan to use before you start applying them. This way you can stick them on quickly witout trying to pick which ones you want as you go along.

I've used different brands before and they're worked very well. With these,I applied a good coat of glue but they came off one-by-one almost immediately. Just threw them away.

Best intro kit from Konad!For under $20, you get two of the most used colors, three awesome image plates, scraper, stamper and correction pen. This was my very first Konad kit and you can't go wrong with this one. Everything you need and you get beautiful results. It does take some getting used to. I learned and still forget sometimes that you are not supposed to push the stamper with a lot of force on the plate, as no polish will come up. After I bought this kit, I bought more image plates. I love it!! Can't beat the price for all that you get in this package.

konad french manicure kit
Item arrived promptly, was well packaged and as described. Will be ordering more. I had my daughter over to play with them and she left with a couple of the plates...but then, I am sure she will be ordering some too! What a perfect reasonable way to spend a mother daughter day, making memories, learning new money saving skills and simply enjoying each others company.
